The word lifetime refers to the period of 10 years from the puppy's birthday.
*Although, knowing that your puppy can never be replaced, we believe that having another four legged furry companion may help lessen the sadness in your home. In the unlikely death of your puppy within one year from its birthday due to genetics, or if the puppy is found to have a life threatening congenital or hereditary disorders (within one year) which adversely affects the health of your puppy, we will replace the puppy with another of equal value at no cost to you.
*In the event of the death of your puppy, due to life threatening congenial defects, after the first year of birth, we will issue a credit in the amount of 50% of the original cost towards the purchase of a replacement puppy of equal value. In either case, the buyer's licensed veterinarian must provide the seller with a written certificate stating the exact cause of death as verified by an necropsy/autopsy. If the death was caused by a genetic defect listed above and not neglect by the buyer, the puppy will be replaced with one of equal value as soon as one is available. In the case of death you will also have to provide the microchip that was given by Princess Puppies. (This is to prove that it is the canine you bought from Princess Puppies). If these regulations as well as the ones below are not met the guarantee becomes null and void.
What We Need From You For The Guarantee To Be Valid.
Nothing makes us more happy than knowing we were able to bring a healthy, happy puppy into your home. We do need your help to ensure your puppy remains healthy.
- Mail a copy of the initial examination (medical record) within 2 business days of receiving your puppy. The examination must be performed by a licensed veterinarian. Your puppy will come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations, so make sure you do not vaccinate within the first five days of receiving your puppy. Princess Puppies 124 Merrell Rd. - You will need to Microchip your puppy with Princess Puppies.
- While we de-worm and vaccinate your puppy until the time it goes home, you will need to continue proper de-worming and conducting regular exams at least up to 16 weeks of age or more and regular veterinarian checkups every 6 months for life.
- If you ever have to use this Guarantee, you will need to provide all paperwork from the initial sale given to you by Princess Puppies, registration papers (if applicable), all the vet records showing the continued health and maintenance of your canine and produce their microchip.
- If these regulations are not met the guarantee will become null and void.
Additional Conditions Of Sale
- If a life threatening illness or defect is discovered prior to buyer receiving the puppy, we will offer a full refund or exchange the puppy with an equal or better quality. If a life threatening or congenital defect is discovered at the initial health check within 3 days of sale, the puppy will be replaced by a puppy of the same breed and sex when one comes available.
- Seller reserves the right to cancel sale at any given time if he/she decides this would be in the best interest of the dog. In this case all money would be returned to potential buyer.
- All puppies are picked up in person from Princess Puppies. We do not ship or deliver puppies. A nonrefundable deposit of our choice will hold a puppy of your choice. The balance is due in full at pickup, before the puppy goes home.
- The seller reserves the right to have this puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice before a replacement puppy is agreed upon between buyer and seller.
- In the event of any litigation in connection with this contract, Princess Puppies or its owners will be paid reasonable attorney fees by the purchaser. Venue and jurisdiction for litigation arising out of or related to this contract shall lie exclusively in Alexandria, Louisiana.
By accepting the above conditions the buyer will be bound to the provisions of this purchase agreement. The buyer agrees to hold all responsibility for the puppy's safety and well-being from the point of leaving the seller's property. The seller will not be held responsible for any contagious or infectious diseases this puppy may be exposed to after leaving the breeder's property. The buyer agrees to continue the proper vaccinations and worming to ensure the proper health of your new puppy. The breeder neither makes nor implies any warranties or guarantees express or implied, other than those written in the agreement. This document constitutes the entire agreement between breeder and buyer with respect to this sale. By accepting below this indicates that you have read, agree, and do understand all conditions of this agreement on the Health Guarantee/purchase agreement/conditions of sale.
We reserve the right to refund any deposit placed on a puppy at any time, for any reason.
No money paid toward the balance or deposit of a puppy will be returned to the buyer in the case that they change their mind or can't take the puppy home. If the buyer changes their mind about getting the puppy or does not show up for the agreed pickup, no money will be returned whatsoever. This document constitutes the entire agreement between breeder and buyer with respect to this sale. By accepting these terms/conditions it indicates that you have read, agree, and do understand all conditions of this agreement on the Health Guarantee/Purchase Agreement/Conditions of Sale.
